U.S. pop artists took out a clutch of trophies at the Vodafone MTV Australia Awards 2009 on Friday night in Sydney, where Pink, Katy Perry and Britney Spears were among the main winners.
For the three categories which recognize viewers' favorite music clips, Pink's "So What" (Sony) took out best video, Fall Out Boy's "I Don't Care" (Universal) won for best rock video and the Ian Carey Project's "Get Shaky" (Vicious) took out best dance video.
Also on the night, Perry was named best newcomer, Britney Spears' "Circus" (Sony) received the best moves honor and T.I. feat Rihanna's "Live Your Life" (Warner) won for best collaboration.
