P!nk shows off her circus skills again, this time at a secret gig at the Palais De Nikaia in Nice, and proves that even though Britney might have an album called "Circus," P!nk is master of this ring.
The singer - who resembled a vaudeville pirate - wore enormous red high heels, skin-tight red pants, a huge head-dress and a feathered bushy tail. You know, her normal afternoon outfit.
The acrobatic singer did sweat-inducing-just-to-look-at stuff like: balance on a hoop suspended from the ceiling and then charge around showing off her steely abs. Oh and sing songs of course, but I mean really sing (no lip-syncing here Brit Brit!)
Just over two months ago, MusicToob reported that P!nk was photographed at the Santa Monica Pier amusement park in California learning to be a trapeze artist. This was clearly part of her training for her current stage antics. However, she is no stranger to the world of acrobatics. During her last tour with Justin Timberlake, P!nk climbed large pieces of silk hanging from the ceiling with ease.
Now what does this have to do with Ms. Spears? Well, she is putting the finishing touches on her "Circus" tour, which starts March 3. My pal in Los Angeles saw a sneak peek of Brit's show last night and her words were simply "just saw the first half of Britney Spears' 'Circus' tour! Amazing!!! She looks fierce!!!!!" So, it looks like we will have to wait and see who's gonna run this big top.
