Britney Spears plans to settle in New Jersey for part of 'Circus' tour

Britney Spears will be a Jersey girl ... at least temporarily. The rehabilitating pop diva plans to keep home bases in New Jersey, New Orleans and Los Angeles during her upcoming "Circus" tour so she has a stable place to stash her two sons while she jets off to regional concert venues.

That's part of an agreement hammered out between Spears and her father and ex-husband Kevin Federline, who had concerns about letting Sean Preston and Jayden James join the tour. No word on where La Spears will alight, but we're taking bets on Bergen County.


The agreement, according to TMZ.com, says that Federline, who has primary custody of the kids, will get at least $4,000 each week that Spears is on tour, and that he would get his own digs in New Jersey and New Orleans as well.

Spears' official website confirms that the boys will be touring with their mama.
